We love it - the highlighter yellow and all!

This gem was actually on the market for an unheard of 4 months! We looked at the listing online when we started our house hunt and despite looking for a 'fixer upper', we thought this one was a little more fixer upper than we could handle. However, during our house hunt, we were seeing house after house that had wavy and unlevel floors on the main level, and basements that boasted zero renovation potential and featured random supports everywhere and had all sorts of issues. We saw many houses that were 'newly renovated' at the cheapest and lowest quality possible and we just weren't willing to pay for these 'upgrades'.
As we started to get desperate, we booked a showing at this house and as soon as we walked in, it was obvious that it was a solid, well-built house. The house didn't seem to have any real issues, besides being stuck in the 1950's...
We're thrilled to be the 2nd owners of this beautiful character home.
